Bob Bittner - Bob Bittner

I'm a full-time freelance journalist (and part-time musician/producer) based in Michigan. I've been publishing since 1985 and am the author of five books and dozens of magazine articles, as well as a CD of original songs ("This Hummingbird," available on iTunes and at CDBaby). I've been a movie/TV fan for as long as I can remember. (My earliest TV memories: watching "McHale's Navy" and seeing the televised assassination of Bobby Kennedy. My earliest movie memory: Seeing The Beatles' "Help!" in a theater in downtown Chicago.) Today, I love my TiVo, swear by Kindle, and treasure my iPod. Gadgets are great. But they're even better when they can introduce us to new friends, new worlds, and new ways of seeing the world and ourselves.
